Orthodontics
We offer Adult, Adolescent and Child Orthodontic treatment.
Orthodontics (from
Greek
orthos "straight or proper"; and odons "tooth") is one of the dental
specialties that is concerned with the study and treatment of
malocclusions (improper bites). An improper bite may be a
result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or
both. Orthodontic treatment can focus on dental displacement only,
or can deal with the control and modification of facial growth. In
the latter case it is better defined as "dentofacial orthopedics".
Orthodontic treatment can be carried out for purely aesthetic
reasons with regards to improving the general appearance of
patients' teeth - many of our adult patients benefit from Invisalign
or full orthodontic treatment. Braces, retainers and Orthodontic
treatment in general is often prescribed for practical reasons such
as providing the patient with a functionally improved bite
(occlusion), yet also serves to give the patient a straight,
beautiful smile. [

Periodontics
Periodontics or Periodontology (from Greek peri "around"; and odons
"tooth") is one of the dental specialties that is concerned with the
study and treatment of supporting structures of teeth, diseases, and
conditions that affect them. The supporting tissues are known as the
periodontium, which includes the gingiva (gums), alveolar bone,
cementum, and the periodontal ligament. Proper dental hygiene and
routine dentist visits can minimize your risk of periodontal
problems. [

Oral Surgery
Oral Surgery is the specialty of dentistry that includes the
diagnosis, surgical and related treatment of diseases, injuries,
trauma, and defects involving both the functional and aesthetic
aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the head, mouth, teeth,
gums, jaws and neck. Some of the treatment that falls under this
category would be: wisdom teeth removal, apicoectomy, facial trauma,
corrective jaw surgery, oral pathology, dental implants, osseous
tissue surgery, and bone grafts. Dental Sedation and Oral
Surgery tend to both be used to comfortably treat the patient with
these conditions.

Endodontics
Endodontic treatment consists of procedures that deal with the
inside of the tooth such as root canal therapy. Endodontics (from
the Greek endo "inside"; and odons "tooth") is one of the dental
specialties that corrects problems with the tooth pulp and the
tissues surrounding the root of a tooth. A variety of procedures
including root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, fixing cracked
teeth, and treating dental trauma all fall under this category. Root
canal therapy is one of the most common procedures. If the pulp
(containing nerves, arterioles, venules, lymphatic tissue, and
fibrous tissue) becomes diseased or injured, endodontic treatment is
required to save the tooth.

Dental Hygiene
Dental Hygiene (or Oral Hygiene) is the practice of keeping the
mouth and teeth clean to prevent dental problems and bad breath.
It also involves the care of the gums to prevent problems such as
periodontal disease. Dental Hygiene is the important step that
a patient can take a home to ensure a healthy mouth and smile.

Dental Sedation | Anesthesia
Dental sedation & Anesthesia are commonly used when performing
procedures that may cause discomfort to the patient. It can
also be beneficial to patients that suffer from fear or anxiety at
the dental office. There are many forms of anesthesia
available today such as: Localized anesthesia is often used when you
get a filling or restoration - it numbs a certain area of your
mouth. General Anesthesia can make you sleep through a long
procedure. Oral Sedation is given to a patient in the form of
a pill - this type of sedation will relax the patient and they may
just snooze off and on during the procedure. Nitrous Oxide is
a type of sedation in gas form that the patient will breathe in and
fall asleep for longer visits. [

worn, chipped or cracked teeth, and spaces. Aesthetic
Dentistry can be used to completely rebuild the smile and bite.

Neuromuscular Dentistry & TMJ Services
Neuromuscular dentistry deals with the jaw and bite. It is a
dental treatment philosophy in which temporomandibular joints,
masticatory muscles and central nervous system mechanisms are
claimed to follow generic physiologic and anatomic laws applicable
to all musculoskeletal systems. It is an area of dentistry that
focuses on correcting the "misalignment" of the jaw at the
temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
