What is Dental Sedation?
Sedation is typically used in dentistry for reconstructive surgery,
some more extensive cosmetic procedures, removal of impacted wisdom
teeth, or for high-anxiety patients. Sedation methods in dentistry
include inhalation sedation (using nitrous oxide), oral sedation,
and intravenous (IV) sedation.
If sedation services have been recommended for you be sure to ask
your Dentist for options and more information. Most of our
locations offer
some type of Sedation Service. IV Sedation is available by
appointment, ask your Dentist for more information if you are
interested in IV Sedation.
Please visit the
location pages for more information on our offices. If you
already have a General Dentist in another office we will be happy to
coordinate care with one of our Specialists.
